Frequently asked questions
What is Lowco?
A price alert app. Give it a product link and it tells you on your phone when the price drops or it's back in stock. It isn't a price comparison site: it watches the product you choose, in the store you choose.
How do price alerts work?
We check the price regularly, depending on your plan. If it drops, you get a notification with the new price and a link to the store. With Pro you can ask to be told only when it drops by a percentage or hits a specific price.
Is Lowco free?
Yes. The free plan doesn't expire and has no ads: up to 5 products, checked once a day, with price drop and back-in-stock alerts. Pro and Pro Plus are paid plans for people who want to watch more products or hear sooner.
Which stores does it work with?
Most online stores that show the price on the product page, from Amazon and big chains to small shops. It doesn't work with every store: if one doesn't work yet, the app lets you request it and tells you when it's ready.
Will it tell me when a product is back in stock?
Yes, on every plan. If a product you're watching is sold out, we'll tell you as soon as the store has it again. We're working on tracking specific sizes and colours.
How often does it check prices?
Once a day on Free, every 2 hours on Pro and every hour on Pro Plus. Some stores block automated visits and have to be checked another, slower way: for those, every 12 hours on Pro and every 6 on Pro Plus.
What's the difference between Free, Pro and Pro Plus?
How many products you watch and how often they're checked. Free: 5 products, once a day. Pro: 20 products every 2 hours, percentage and target price alerts, and full price history. Pro Plus: the same as Pro, with 50 products checked every hour.
When will it be available on iOS and Android?
We're finishing the app and there's no fixed date yet. Leave your email and we'll write to you the day it's on the App Store and Google Play.
Can I use Lowco from my browser?
Yes, with the extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox: add the product you're looking at in one click and see what you're watching. Alerts arrive on your phone, so you'll need the app too.
How does hunt mode work?
It's a €1.99 pass you pay once, with no subscription. For 7 days, up to 10 products of your choice are checked every 30 minutes (every 6 hours in stores that block automated visits). It works with any plan, including Free.
What do you do with my email?
We only use it to tell you about the launch and we don't share it with anyone. The details are in the privacy policy.
